Welcome to BIBC!

The theme for our church this year (2012) is "to become the light of the world." The Tohoku Great Earthquake has reminded us again our mission to build the Kingdom of God by reaching out to the victims as well as to our local community in Beppu.

In recent years, Beppu City has evolved into an international city. Thank to Beppu University, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) and Misobe Gakuen College. The number of international students coming to church has significantly increased, giving a unique color of diversity to our church. Without realizing it, as international students graduate and leave Beppu, BIBC has become a training place and departure point for preaching the gospel to the world.
